KUCHING, Jan 11: Two individuals sustain injuries following a collision between a car and a lorry at Jalan Tun Razak today.
The Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) responded to the emergency call at 3.49pm and deployed a team of firefighters from the Tabuan Jaya Station to the scene.
Upon arrival, one of the victims of the Proton Preve had already exited the vehicle, while the other remained trapped inside.
Acting promptly, the firefighters worked to extricate the trapped victim who was later handed over to paramedics for immediate medical attention.
Both victims from the Proton car were subsequently transported to the hospital using ambulances from the Ministry of Health (MOH) and Bomba Emergency Medical Rescue Services (EMRS) Unit.
The lorry driver emerged from the collision unharmed. — DayakDaily
