Two churches in Senadin received Unifor grants totalling RM320,000

MIRI, Sept 18: The State government has disbursed RM320,000 in grants to two churches in Senadin through the Unit for Other Religions (Unifor).

The grants were presented to the churches by Minister for Transport Sarawak-cum-Senadin assemblyman Dato Sri Lee Kim Shin yesterday.

A grant for RM200,000 was handed over to Senadin Methodist Preaching Centre in Desa Senadin, while a RM120,000 grant was presented to Methodist Church Tudan in Tudan Desaras.

Lee, when met after the presentation said, the assistance via Unifor is part of the Sarawak government’s efforts to look after the interest of all Sarawakians irrespective of race and religion. — DayakDaily
