SELANGAU, Dec 21: Two young children, aged 12 and 8, were among five individuals who sustained minor injuries in a single-vehicle accident on Jalan Stapang this morning.
Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) Selangau responded to the emergency at 9.08am and immediately mobilised a team of firefighters to the scene.
Upon arrival, firefighters found the car had crashed and landed in a drain at the roadside.
Four passengers had already been assisted out of the vehicle by passersby before Bomba’s arrival.
Firefighters then worked to retrieve another victim, who was not trapped inside the car. The passenger was handed over to paramedics from Selangau Clinic for further treatment. — DayakDaily
