TVS shines bright as 3 programmes receive nominations at Asian Television Awards 2024, Kuala Lumpur Eco Film Festival 2023

KUCHING, Dec 13: Three outstanding TVS programmes have been nominated for two prestigious awards, namely the Asian Television Awards 2024 and the Kuala Lumpur Eco Film Festival (KLEFF) 2023, both of which are scheduled to take place in the first quarter of next year.

According to a TVS news report, the nominations underscore the network’s commitment to diverse and high-quality content.

“Borneo Wildlife & Nature, an awe-inspiring programme has been nominated in the category of Best Natural History or Wildlife Programme at the 28th Asian Television Awards.


“The programme, dedicated to showcasing the rich biodiversity of Borneo, has captivated audiences with its stunning cinematography and insightful narratives,” the news outlet reported.

Meanwhile, Aroma Puncak Borneo, which celebrates the essence of lifestyle and culture, has earned a nomination in the Best Lifestyle Programme category, per TVS.

“The show has successfully captured the unique flavours, traditions, and lifestyles of the people in the Borneo region, making it a standout contender for this esteemed award.”

It was also noted that the 28th Asian Television Awards ceremony is scheduled to take place on January 12 and 13, 2024, in the vibrant city of Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam.

TVS stated that the prestigious event, which debuted in 1996, aims to recognise and celebrate exceptional achievements in programming and production in the Asian television industry.

“Lastly, Guardians of the Shore has been recognised for its excellence in the category of Feature Film/Long Documentary, securing a nomination at the Kuala Lumpur Eco Film Festival (KLEFF) 2023.
