KUCHING, April 16: Waste collection services of certain areas under Padawan Municipal Council (MPP) jurisdiction will be affected for the next two weeks due to manpower issues faced by Trienekens (Sarawak) Sdn Bhd’s sub-contractor.
Trienekens’ Logistics Operations Department Manager, Mason Barau in a press statement today said Trienekens and their sub-contractor would work closely to quickly address the issues, following several quarantine orders and movement restrictions in living areas of more than 10 operation employees.
“We hope that the public can bear with us during this period and we welcome any public inquiries or service reports to help us improve our services. We hope residents and business owners will manage and dispose of their waste responsibly and properly in order to maintain cleanliness,” he said.
He added the public’s cooperation and understanding during this period was very much needed.

The affected areas are Taman Boulder Built, Kampung Sandong, Taman Country Vale, Taman Inspire Height, Taman Inspire Height 2, Top Green, Taman Kwong Tiong, Lotak Villa, Taman Greengate, Stephen Yong Lorong 2A, 2A1, 2B & 2C and Stephen Avenue.
Other areas include Jalan Batu Kawa, Taman Segedup, Taman Lovelyland, Kampung Stapok Lorong 1 ,2 ,3 ,3A ,4 ,4C, 4A5, 5B, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 & 12, Kampung Segedup, Taman Sri Segedup, Chungnion Villa, SMK Batu Kawa, Taman Rimba and SK Batu Kawa.
The list of places affected conclude with the Field Force Camp (Flats, Quarters, Logistic Department, Mechanical Department, Admin Department), Taman Grace Villa, Beautiful Garden, Housing along (Lorong Field Force 1 until Lorong Field Force 12), Royal Garden, Taman Batu Kawa Heights, Taman Tropimas and Taman Botanika. — DayakDaily
