“The payment of the B40 and M40 aid for recipient in rural Sabah and Sarawak will be done simultaneously with the payment of the Bantuan Sara Hidup (BSH) 2020,” LHDN said.

Last Friday, Muhyiddin announced that the remaining cash payment for Living Cost Aid programme known as BSH will be paid in July 2020.

In the meantime, LHDN said the distribution of cash payment for B40 group under the comprehensive economic stimulus package is in accordance to the database of BSH recipient.

As for the M40 group, it said the recipient will be from the tax fillings in LHDN’s database.

LHDN noted the payment for the B40 and M40 groups will be done in April and May.

It added those who are entitled to receive the B40 and M40 aid can check their status at LHDN’s website at http://www.hasil.gov.my starting April 1.

BSH recipients may check their status and entitlement at https://bsh.hasil.gov.my or with the Ministry of Finance’s website at https://www.treasury.gov.my.

LHDN pointed out that for new applicants who fulfill the criteria but are not listed, they need to visit the LHDN’s BSH and Ministry of Finance’s webportal to apply for it from April 1.

For new applicants who qualify, the cash payment for the aid will be credited into their accounts in May.
