MIRI, May 17: The Treasury Department of Miri City Council (MCC) is closed following a staff being confirmed positive for Covid-19.
In a press statement, MCC said the building is closed for sanitation until further notice.
“MCC would like to inform the general public that the Treasury Department of MCC in its main building at Jalan Raja is now closed for sanitation process and pending further directive from Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia (KKM) due to one staff in the Department has been confirmed a positive Covid-19 case.
“The closure is with immediate effect until further notice,” said MCC.
The remaining offices of MCC will still be opened but continue to maintain at reduced working capacity as well as other procedures in accordance with SOP laid down under the current Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO). — DayakDaily
