Topspot, Medan Niaga will be closed from Mar 18 to 31

KUCHIHG, Mar 17: Popular places of Kuching Topspot Food Court, Medan Niaga and Cultural Village will be closed in view of Restricted Movement Order.

“In line with the Malaysian government’s 14-day Movement Control Order and the Sarawak government’s Policy to curb the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic, SEDC is closing its public facilities and amenities effective 18 March to 31 March 2020,” said SEDC in a statement today.

Apart from the above two must-go places in Kuching, other premises and facilities under the management of Sarawak Economic Development Corporation (SEDC) will also be closed.


These business premises and facilities include Damai Golf and Country Club, Menara SEDC HQ Office at the Isthmus, Regional Offices (Sibu/Mukah/Bintulu/Miri) and all PIBU Centres, Sara Resorts Sdn Bhd Head Office at Plaza SEDC, Sarawak Plaza and Riverside Shopping Complex and Bowling Centre,

Meanwhile, Hydrogen Fuel Cell buses will also cease operation during that period of time. — DayakDaily
