KUCHING, September 14: After a lapse of 15 years, the Europe Royal International Circus Troupe is back in Sarawak.
The troupe, which has performed in many parts of the world, will be in the state from today till March 3 next year. Their presence here is co-organised by Sarawak Taiwan Graduates Association and Persatuan Kebajikan Bahagian Kuching.
Each show will comprise a marvellous grand magic show, flying plane stunts, hilarious clowns’ interactive performances, poetic aerial death-defying routines and delightful European dances.
Besides that, there will be a variety of shows, including specialised extreme performances, heart-stopping flying death wheel and an award-winning display of big-machine shows featuring the best artistes from Russia, Ukraine, Brazil, Colombia and China.
The circus is happening at a uniquely designed air-conditioned grand circus ground that can hold 800 people. There is also a specially designated VIP section. The show is going to be held near Chung Hua Middle School No 1, opposite Icom Square, Pending.
Ticket price for adults is RM40, children (4-12 years old) RM20 and for VIP is RM80.
The circus troupe will be making their rounds to major urban centres in Sarawak as follows: Kuching (Sept 14 to Oct 21), Bintulu (Oct 27 to Nov 20), Miri (Nov 24 to Jan 6, 2019) and Sibu (Jan 12 to March 3)
In each venue, the show times will be as follows: Mondays to Thursdays (7.30pm), Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays (3.30pm, 5.30pm and 7.30pm)
