KUCHING, April 3: Thunderstorms are expected in Kuching, Bau, Serian, Samaraha, Sri Aman and Limbang until 9pm tonight.
Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) issued the warning at 5.30pm on its Facebook page today.
It said the warning is issued when there are signs of a thunderstorm with rain intensity exceeding 20mm/hour that is close or expected to occur for more than an hour.
It added, a thunderstorm warning is a short-term warning valid for a period not exceeding six hours for a single release. — DayakDaily
