KUCHING, March 24: The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has issued a thunderstorm, heavy rain, and strong wind warning for several areas in Sarawak, effective until 7pm today.
The affected areas include Betong (Saratok and Kabong), Sarikei (Sarikei and Meradong), Sibu, Mukah, and Limbang.

The warning was issued at 4pm after signs indicated thunderstorms with rainfall intensity exceeding 20mm per hour, expected to persist for more than an hour.
