The fourth and fifth suspects, arrested outside Kuching Court on December 14, were not represented by legal counsel. The sixth suspect, aged 43, who was apprehended later that evening at Kota Sentosa Police Station, was represented by Counsel Roger Chin.

The development follows an earlier investigation into the incident, which occurred on December 1. A security guard at the apartment reported hearing commotion at 4.30am and saw several individuals vandalising a black Lexus parked under one of the blocks. Upon further investigation with a colleague, the guard discovered evidence of a violent break-in at one of the units.

When police arrived, they found a male victim, a 22-year-old from Miri, in a pool of blood inside the apartment.

Six suspects have been arrested in connection with the case so far. Three were apprehended on December 1 and later released after their remand period ended.

The other three suspects were detained by the police yesterday (December 14) as investigations continued.

The remand period will allow police to interrogate the suspects and identify others involved in the murder. Investigators are probing the case under Section 302 of the Penal Code for Murder. –DayakDaily
