MARUDI, Feb 1: Three local men were detained by the Marudi police on Tuesday (Jan 30) for suspected involvement in house break-in activities.
The suspects were picked by Marudi police from several locations in Marudi during a raid.
Marudi Police chief DSP Mohd Ruslan Mat Kib confirmed the arrests and disclosed all three suspects had also tested positive for methamphetamine and amphetamine.
“They also have prior criminal and drugs cases,” he said.
During the raid, police also seized several tools believed to be used for the break-ins, stolen items and a vehicle.
All of the suspects are currently remanded for three days to facilitate police investigations. — DayakDaily
