BINTULU, Dec 21: Three Koreans were rushed to the hospital following a car crash along KM16 of the Pan Borneo Highway today.
Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) Bintulu responded to the emergency at 8.42am and swiftly deployed a team of firefighters to the scene.
Upon arrival, they found a Perodua Aruz with three male passengers off the road. Two individuals had managed to exit the vehicle and were transported to the hospital by passersby before Bomba’s arrival.
A third passenger remained trapped inside and complained of shoulder pain. Firefighters immobilised him with a cervical collar and used a spinal board to safely retrieve him.
He was then transported to the hospital by an ambulance from the Ministry of Health.
The operation concluded at 9.44am after ensuring the scene was secure. — DayakDaily
