Three foreigners arrested in Mukah for breaching CMCO SOP

KUCHING, Feb 13: Three female Chinese nationals were arrested by the police in Mukah for failing to produce their travel documentation.

According to the State Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) in a statement today, the three women also breached the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) standard operating procedures (SOP) by operating an unauthorised business in a foot reflexology in Mukah.

On the same note, SDMC disclosed a total of 10 compounds were issued in the span of 24 hours in three districts namely in Padawan (four), Miri (three) and Mukah (three) for SOP violation.


At the same time, the Ministry of Local Government and Housing Sarawak had also issued a total of 107 written warning notices through the local authorities.

The warning notices were issued namely in Kuching North City Commission (31), Padawan Municipal Council (30), Miri City Council (23), Sibu Municipal Council (10), Kuching South City Council (five), Serian District Council (three), Kapit District Council (two), Subis District Council (two) and Bintulu District Authority (one). — DayakDaily
