Thomian alumni from class of 1990 mark Golden Jubilee celebration with former teachers

KUCHING, April 30: About 80 Thomian alumni who sat for SPM in 1990 celebrated their Golden Jubilee (50th birth year) with their former teachers.

Held at a local hotel today, the celebration which was themed ‘Forever Unite’, saw ex-students gathered together from all over the region, and even as far as China, Japan and Spain.

During the celebration, a video montage showing some of the alumni’s reactions during a recent visit to SMK St Thomas school.

Following that, the alumni also presented their former teachers with souvenirs as ‘thank you’ gestures for their efforts to educate the former while they were in school.

The former teachers were invited to cut the cake to celebrate the occasion.

There were also a cake-cutting ceremony to mark the Golden Jubilee celebration. — DayakDaily
