“To minimise inconvenience, the contractor has completed installation of a high-quality temporary toilet, which is now open for use by both the public and market hawkers starting today.

“A two-day trial period will allow users to familiarise themselves with the temporary facility and ensure it meets the needs of the community before the renovation begins,” he said in a statement today.

He also expressed appreciation for the cooperation and understanding shown by market users during this improvement phase.

Tan affirmed the council’s commitment to enhancing public facilities to create a cleaner, safer, and more comfortable environment for all. — DayakDaily
