KUCHING, Nov 8: A section of Jalan Tan Sri Datuk Amar Wee Boon Ping to the Jalan Kong Ping traffic light junction will be closed temporarily from 8pm to 5am, Nov 12 to Dec 1 to facilitate road surface upgrading works.
An advisory from the Public Works Department (JKR) Sarawak emphasised that a reduced speed limit of 30km/hour will be enforced within the affected area.
All road users are advised to exercise caution when travelling along this route for the duration of the maintenance period.
Motorists are urged to adhere to all traffic management instructions in place to ensure their safety until the maintenance work is completed.
JKR Kuching Division will regularly provide updates should there be any changes to the date, time, or affected area of the maintenance.
In light of these circumstances, motorists are recommended to plan their journeys in advance, especially if their routes include the affected area.
