KUCHING, Nov 8: A section of Jalan Datuk Stephen Yong will undergo scheduled closure from 8pm to 5am, starting on Nov 9 and continuing until Nov 23 for road surface upgrading and repair works.
An advisory from the Public Works Department (JKR) Sarawak emphasised that a reduced speed limit of 30km/hour will be enforced within the affected area.
All road users are advised to exercise caution when travelling along this route for the duration of the maintenance period.
Motorists are urged to adhere to all traffic management instructions in place to ensure their safety until the maintenance work is completed.
JKR Kuching Division will regularly provide updates should there be any changes to the date, time, or affected area of the maintenance.
In light of these circumstances, motorists are recommended to plan their journeys in advance, especially if their routes include the affected area.
