KUCHING, July 22: The traffic light junction in Jalan Tun Razak in Bintulu will be temporarily closed on July 24 until 25.
Public Works Department (JKR) Sarawak in a statement yesterday said the closure will start from 7pm (July 24) until 6am (July 25) to give way for the construction works of Bintulu-Jepak bridge crossing over to Kuala Kemena.
The department suggested an alternative route for road users to travel to The Spring Bintulu and Everly hotel area, which are from Jalan Sultan Iskandar, heading towards to Jalan Polycarp Sim Ching Mong, to Jalan Kambar Bubin, and to Jalan Tun Razak.
Second alternative routes are from Jalan Sultan Iskandar, heading towards Jalan Rakawi, and to Jalan Tun Razak.
The department also advises road users to be careful when driving along the affected route during the construction period and follow all traffic management.
JKR Bintulu will provide update is there is any changes of the time, date and area affected.
