KUCHING, Oct 4: Jalan Sg Tisang-Jalan KOP junction in Bintulu has been temporarily closed due to a damaged culvert, according to a statement from the Public Works Department (JKR) Sarawak today.
The road entry has been cut off, and the closure will remain in effect until repair works are approved and completed.

JKR advises road users heading towards Miri to make a U-turn at the Mile 8 traffic light junction.
Those heading towards SK Sg. Tisang are encouraged to use alternative routes in the area.
A site investigation has been conducted, and a proposal for the necessary repair works has been submitted.
