KUCHING, Nov 15: The Three Sisters Waterfall in Baram should be gazetted as a new nature park or reserve, says Telang Usan assemblyman Datuk Dennis Ngau.
Dennis said the waterfall, which is located between Long Beku and Long San Ulu Baram, is unique and not found anywhere else in Malaysia.
“The uniqueness of this waterfall is where three different waterfalls drop into one big pool, making one feel as if he or she is at a Hollywood movie site,” he said when debating Sarawak Budget 2025 during the Sarawak Legislative Assembly (DUS) Sitting today.
He also urged relevant authorities to develop basic facilities at the waterfall area for visitors such as an access road, rest house, toilets, and walk path.
“This is a potential goldmine to the locals especially,” he added. — DayakDaily
