KUCHING, Jan 25: The Telang Usan district has became the latest district to be infected with Covid-19.
The State Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) in a press statement today disclosed that there was a case of Covid-19 identified in Telang Usan from the Rakut Cluster.
The Rakut Cluster is an active cluster of Covid-19 in Miri.
It was believed that the cluster was formed due to people who attended a wedding ceremony in the city.
To date, the Rakut Cluster has infected a total of 79 people with an additional 10 cases today.
The 10 cases were from Bintulu (5) and Julau (5).
As a result, the Telang Usan district has turned into a yellow zone of Covid-19.
For the Rakut Cluster, a total of 260 individuals have been swabbed with 167 tested negative and 14 awaiting laboratory test results for their Covid-19 swab test. — DayakDaily
