Tegas Digital Village

KUCHING, May 22: Tabung Ekonomi Gagasan Anak Sarawak (Tegas), through its Tegas Digital Village (TDV) and Digital Innovation Hub (TDIH), will hold its fifth Pre-Accelerator Bootcamp from June 12 to 18.

Tegas chairman Datuk Len Talif Salleh said the topics to be covered include starting up, business modelling, financial modelling, product development, going to market, fundraising, and pitching.

“Going into the fifth year of running the Pre-Accelerator, we believe the programme can be a great avenue for young entrepreneurs in Sarawak to validate their innovative ideas before going to market,” he said in a statement today.

Participants selected for the programme will enjoy mentoring from industry experts and seasoned entrepreneurs, access to early-stage investment opportunities, a green lane to participate in Tegas accelerator programmes and Shell LiveWIRE Malaysia, company incorporation support, 3-month free co-working access to TDV and TDIH (Bintulu and Miri), access to startup support and benefits via MYStartup, and access to Tegas ecosystem partners and programmes.

Tegas will be working together with its strategic partners, WatchTower & Friends, a tech accelerator, and MYStartup, a national project initiated by the Ministry of Science, Technology, and Innovation (MOSTI) and developed by Cradle Fund Sdn Bhd.

Sam Shafiee and Kashminder Singh, who are co-founders of pitchIN, are among the mentors for the programme, along with several others.
