SIBU, July 26: A teenager died a day after he was involved in an accident at Rantau Panjang here.
Sibu District Police Chief ACP Stanley Jonathan Ringgit said at about 4.18pm yesterday, a driver of a pick-up was heading towards Rantau Panjang flat when the motorcycle driven by the deceased, crashed into the head of the vehicle.
“The 16-year old deceased was rushed to the hospital by his friend,” he added.
However he passed away at 5.54am today due to injuries sustained.
The case is being investigated under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987. — DayakDaily
