Teenager runs amok along Penrissen Road

The teenager was sent to the hospital for treatment.

KUCHING, Jan 11: A teenager who ran amok, wrecking cars which drove past him, was beaten by the members of the public and sent to the hospital on Saturday morning.

The incident happened around 10am today when the teenager was standing in the middle of the road at Sixth Mile, Penrissen Road shouting and acting aggressively towards road users.


According to the public, the suspect was banging his helmet and various other items against the cars, causing anger among the public, and he was beaten up by members of the public who were driving past that area.

The police later reached the scene and said that the teenager had consumed alcohol before the incident and believed that the suspect had also been consuming drugs.

The teenager was later sent to the Sarawak General Hospital for treatment. Police are investigating the case. ā€”DayakDaily
