KUCHING, July 6: Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) school-leavers in Bau who are interested to further their studies in China are urged to apply through Tasik Biru’s Constituency Service Centre, says Tasik Biru assemblyman Dato Henry Harry Jinep.
Henry said those who are accepted in their respected courses will received a full scholarship.
“The People’s Republic of China Consul General in Kuching His Excellency Xing Weiping has agreed to provide the assistance needed,” he told a press conference held at his residence in Singai, Bau, today.
Encouraging this, he said it is a good thing for locals to have the opportunity to acquire more knowledge in China, especially for those who had studied in Chinese secondary schools in Bau.
“They already have the basic command of the language, and this is an opportunity for them,” he added. — DayakDaily
