SERIAN, Jan 13: Tarat assemblyman Datuk Roland Sagah Wee Inn assures the constituents that projects would surely come to their areas.

He said it was his desire to see all villages in the area enjoy development and the people can live comfortably.

“You (constituents) need to be patient in waiting for projects because we can’t implement them at once and immediately.

“But be rest assured that projects will be implemented because we want to see that all villages in the constituency enjoy development under Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS),” he said.

Sagah, who is Assistant Minister of Modernisation of Agriculture, Native Land and Regional Development pointed out this at the launching handing over of project site for the improvement of Kpg Rituh Labuan village road, here.

The 800- metre project, costing more than RM130, 000 is currently 50 per cent professing and to be completed end of this March.

Earlier, Sagah also attended a similar event for the project Kpg Rayang at a cost of more than RM252, 000.

On the projects under the Rural Tarat assemblyman, he said they are still being handled by Serian Resident office and would be implemented after being finalised.

Sagah commended the various government departments and agencies for the support in bringing development in the area and hoped that such good networking is continued to benefit the people.

He also explained the frequent water supply interruption in the area due to pipe leakage and replacement of water pipes.

“So I hope that the people understand this problem and not listen to certain quarters who only want to criticise,” he stressed.
