Julaihi told this to reporters during a visit to the raw water intake pond in Sungai Sadit today.

He said the 20 MLD raw water intake project, which takes its source from Sungai Rajang, costs RM16.8 million.

He added construction started on July 1, 2020, and was scheduled to be completed on June 30, 2021.

But due to the Covid-19 pandemic and lack of workforce, progress has been affected and resulted in delays. — DayakDaily
