KUCHING, April 25: Azizul Annuar Adenan is ready to defend his position as Taekwondo Malaysia (WTF) president ahead of the annual general meeting (AGM) scheduled for July.
Azizul, who is also the president of the Sarawak Taekwondo Association, served as president for the 2018-2020 session.
“Due to Covid-19, we were unable to hold the AGM, so we will hold a meeting this July,” he said in a news report by TVS.
He said this when met during the Hari Raya Aidilfitri open house at the residence of former Chief Minister of Sarawak, the late Pehin Sri Adenan Satem, in Santubong yesterday (April 24).
Azizul, who is also Tanjong Datu assemblyman, was the first Sarawakian appointed to hold the position of president of the national association, which was left vacant by Senator Dato Sri SA Vigneswaran, who decided not to defend the position. — DayakDaily
