KUCHING, Oct 1: Sarawak Women for Women Society (SWWS) Women’s Crisis Phoneline will resume its operations next week, starting on Monday (Oct 4).
SWWS in a press statement today said they have also updated the phoneline operating hours and service number.
“The new operating hours for the Crisis Phoneline are from 7pm until 9pm, on Monday, while for Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays; from 9:30am until 11:30am, and on Saturdays, the operation starts from 2pm until 4pm.
“They can also call SWWS’ office number 082-368853 (Office hours: Mondays: 1pm to 5pm; Tuesdays to Fridays: 9:30am to 5pm) or email info@sarswws.org for further information,” it said.
SWWS said Women’s Crisis Phoneline is free and confidential, and the service provides a “listening ear” to those in need, while providing support to women in distress.
“We aim to assist women to explore various ways to resolve their crisis and give women encouragement to make their own decisions,” it said.
“Women can also go to our Drop-in-centre which has been relocated to Level 4 of La Promenade Mall (Kota Samarahan, Sarawak) at the above hours except Mondays,” the statement added.
