KUCHING, July 24: The Sarawak government will continue to strengthen its cooperation with X-FAB Global Services in manufacturing local semiconductor and microchip materials.
According to a report by Sarawak Public Communications Unit (Ukas), X-FAB Board of Directors member Roland Duchâtelet stated that two Board members are Sarawakians namely Tan Sri Datuk Amar Dr Hamid Bugo (Board’s chairman) and Dato Sri Dr Wan Lizozman Wan Omar.
“The Sarawak government has two board members in our company and has an interest of approximately 15 per cent of the company’s shares.
“In terms of company’s management, thanks to the contribution of Sarawak’s board of directors, things are going very well,” he said after paying a courtesy call to Sarawak Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg at Wisma Bapa Malaysia here today. — DayakDaily
