KUCHING, Dec 8: Sarawak United Peoples’ Party (SUPP)’s central working committee (CWC) held a brainstorming session here yesterday to chart the course the party should take in 2019.
Its president, Datuk Dr Sim Kui Hian, describing the meeting as “fruitful”.
“We brainstormed and charted our course and plan for next year and what we are going to do in 2019,” Dr Sim told reporters covering his visit to Dreammaster Sleep Gallery in Jalan Wan Alwi here today.
Dr Sim, who is also Minister of Local Government and Housing, said most of the party’s elected representatives and top leaders were present at the meeting.
SUPP has seven assemblymen: Dr Sim (Batu Kawah), Datuk Lee Kim Shin (Senadin), Datuk Francis Harden (Simanggang), Lo Khere Chiang (Bau Kitang), Dato Sri Huang Tiong Sii (Repok), Sebastian Ting (Piasau) and Datuk Ding Kwong Hiing (Meradong).
The party has one parliamentarian in Datuk Seri Richard Riot (Serian). — DayakDaily
