KUCHING, April 30: Sarawak United Peoples’ Party (SUPP) Stakan branch has formed its first Youth Section, with Valentine Daley Yong installed as its chairman.
According to SUPP Stakan branch secretary Sivanesan Sanmugalingam, Yong will be assisted by Fazilah William Timri, while Morris Morgan is the secretary.
“SUPP Stakan branch is approaching six years of age and we are pleased that many young members are joining us to be of service to the community through this new platform in the Stakan area.
“This new team is the result of our new policies implemented and proactive involvement within the community,” he said in a statement today.
Sivanesan added that the team looked forward to more engagements with the society in the fields of welfare, jobs, and entrepreneurial opportunities for the younger generation.
SUPP Stakan branch chairman Dato Sim Kiang Chiok was among those present.
Meanwhile, SUPP Stakan branch will be having its 3rd Triennial Branch Elections tonight at 8pm. — DayakDaily
