KUCHING, March 19: Borneo Convention Centre Kuching (BCCK) is set to host the rhythmic gymnastics event for the upcoming 21st Malaysia Games (Sukma) in Sarawak.
According to a news report by Sarawak Public Communications Unit (Ukas) today, the rhythmic gymnastics event is scheduled to be held from Aug 17–19 with 11 participating states. Each state will be represented by 15 participants, including coaches.
To ensure the venue is ready to host the event, the Sukma technical and competition committee visited BCCK yesterday (March 18).
The visit found that all preparations were being actively made with the agencies involved.
In addition, the visit also aimed to ascertain the proposed level of involvement of security officers and the technical equipment required by each agency. — DayakDaily
