Submit your best ‘Unveil The Land of Hornbill’ video to win RM10,000

KUCHING, March 11: The Associated Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Sarawak (ACCCIS) has launched its short tourism video contest titled ‘Unveil The Land of Hornbill’ last week.

The purpose of organising the short video contest was to promote tourist destinations in Sarawak and in a wider context, to invigorate the recovery and development of the State’s tourism industry.

Winning entries will be used as a medium of publicity to introduce famous and undiscovered tourist attractions, historical sites and local delicacies in Sarawak.


Submissions are free for the short video competition, which is open to all Sarawakians.

It aims to encourage Sarawakians to play a part in promoting the local tourism industry through their short videos.

ACCCIS welcomes the participations of local video makers, YouTubers and students.

First place offers a RM10,000 cash prize, while second and third places will bring home RM6,000 and RM3,000 respectively.

There are also five consolation prizes of RM500 each up for grabs.

All submissions must be uploaded to the Google Form link set up by the organiser before 4pm of June 30, 2022.

The best pixel resolution for the video entries is 1920×1080 in MP4 format of 16:3 landscape aspect and the duration of video clips should be at least 3 minutes long but not exceeding 1GB of the video file size.

Winners will be informed by the organizer in due course.
