KUCHING, Dec 23: Sarawak is expected to have a wet Christmas, with rain forecast later in the day.
According to the Malaysian Meteorological Department (METMalaysia), the morning of Christmas Day is expected to be sunny, while thunderstorms and heavy rain are forecast to develop in the evening and continue into the night.
“As travel increases during the festive season, all road users are advised to prioritise safety, ensure their vehicles are in good condition, and stay updated on the latest weather forecasts and warnings before and during their journey.
“Plan your travels during the festive period. We are constantly monitoring weather conditions to help ensure your celebrations are more joyful. May this festive season be filled with sweet memories with your beloved family,” said the department in a Facebook post today.
