“This is where the issue of arrears of allowance emerge, and my compensation was never paid by the responsible party.
“My purpose of raising this issue again today is to get what is mine by right in order to support my life and my two parents in the village,” he told DayakDaily.
According to Julius, he also has applied for a job, but until today there was no response from the authorities which has added to his disappointment.
“As such, I hope the current government will pay attention to what I have experienced after all this time,” he added.
Julius is one of the national para athletes who excelled in his field in the Asean region, particularly in the freestyle and breaststroke swimming category. He is currently still active in the sport and is representing Sarawak.
