KUCHING, July 21: Visitors to Sematan beach have been urged to remain vigilant after a crocodile was spotted earlier today.
In a Facebook post, the Civil Defence Force (APM) received a call from the public at 10.10am stating that a crocodile was spotted on the beach and requested the assistance of personnel to monitor the area.
However, by the team APM personnel arrived, the crocodile had re-entered the water.
Members of the public have been warned to practice caution and stay alert when visiting the beach, as crocodile sightings had previously been reported in the area. — DayakDaily
