Statos roadshows will be held in Miri, Bintulu, Kuching on March 6, 8, and 10 respectively.

KUCHING, Feb 28: The Sarawak Trade and Tourism Office Singapore (Statos) will organise roadshows in Miri, Bintulu, and Kuching on March 6, 8, and 10, respectively.

According to a Statos press release, it wants to meet with new and small businesses which have good products and are exploring exports to Singapore, as well as resources like land which are suitable for tourism, agriculture, manufacturing, or any other downstream activities, in order to continue promoting trade, investments, and tourism for Sarawak.

“This scheme is a key Sarawak government financial assistance programme for small to medium-sized export-ready businesses that are aspiring and growing.

“It encourages local businesses to export their products and expand internationally. Eligible exporters are those who may have export promotion expenses related to product development in order to gain acceptance in Singapore.

“Statos will share about the Promotion Assistance Scheme (PASS), which provides SGD10,000 (approximately RM30,000) to help your business,” stated Statos in the press release.

Throughout the day, there will be various booths and sharing sessions during the roadshows.

The roadshow in Miri will be held at Pullman Hotel from 10am-4pm on March 6; in Bintulu at Fairfield Hotel from 10am-4pm on March 8; and in Kuching at Imperial Hotel from 10am-4pm on March 10.
