KUCHING, April 15: Democratic Action Party (DAP) Sarawak State Committee has set up a three-man committee to handle the negotiations to work with other Opposition parties in the State for the 15th General Election (GE15).
Its chairman Chong Chieng Jen said the sub-committee comprises of DAP Sarawak’s deputy chairperson Alice Lau, secretary Senator Alan Ling and treasurer Chiew Chiu Sing.
“The three will take charge of all the negotiations or cooperation matters with the other Opposition parties in Sarawak so I will leave that in their hands,” he said during a press conference held at DAP Headquarters in Kuching today.
Asked if the negotiations have already begun, Chong who is Stampin MP and Padungan assemblyman refused to give extra details.
