KUCHING, Oct 19: Democratic Action Party (DAP) Sarawak recently helped sponsor Sarawak Armwrestling Association (SAA) members who will be attending the 40th World Armwrestling and 21st World Para-Armwrestling Championship in Turkey.
Abdul Aziz Isa, a special assistant to state DAP chairman Chong Chieng Jen, represented Chong to hand over the cheque to SAA president Mathew Dominic Barin.
The World Armwrestling Federation (WAF) has invited SAA, as a WAF member country, to attend the championship to be held in Antalya.
The competition will be hosted by the Turkish Armwrestling Federation, whose president is Niyazi Kurt.
DAP Sarawak wished SAA representatives all the best during their trip to Turkey. — DayakDaily
