Following the freak episode, the suspect received a total of six stitches on his body, as he had hurt himself.

According to sources, the suspect was picked up from his house at Kampung Muhibbah in Kuala Baram around 5.10pm.

A next-door neighbour had lodged a police report after the suspect allegedly went over to the house around 3.25pm on Wednesday (Oct 17) and unzipped his pants in front of his 51-year-old neighbour.

Before the startled housewife could react, the suspect allegedly ran towards the bathroom, purportedly to peep at his neighbour’s daughter, who was taking a bath at the time.

The suspect then ran off.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the suspect had been troubling his neighbour since the beginning of the year. Worried about their safety, the housewife then decided to go to the police.

The suspect is now under police custody, and the case is being investigated under Section 447/509 and 427 of the Penal Code. — DayakDaily
