KUCHING, June 23: Stampin assemblyman Chong Chieng Jen has sponsored 5kg of rice for every purchaser that turns up during the Jualan Kombo Madani Programme located at Kuching City Mall.
Therefore, Democratic Action Party (DAP)’s Michael Kong extended a special thank you to Chong for the generous sponsorship.
For the programme, DAP Stampin prepared 300 packs of essential food items that included fried noodles, canned food, and condensed milk to support the community.
“The items were carefully chosen and hand-picked to ensure they meet the demands and needs of the people,” said Kong in a statement today.
He expressed his gratefulness for the community’s overwhelming response and participation, which reflects the strong spirit of unity and cooperation.
“Such enthusiastic engagement reinforces our (DAP’s) resolve to continue organising people-centric events that directly benefit the public,” he said and added that the success of the Jualan Kombo Madani programme is just the beginning. — DayakDaily
