St Joseph’s International School’s A-Level students achieved 100 per cent passing grades in Cambridge International AS examination

KUCHING, Aug 15: St Joseph’s International School’s (SJIS) A-Level students achieved 100 per cent passing grades in Cambridge International AS examination (June 2024 series).

SJIS in a press statement today said the students are Aileen Natasha, Clovis Wong, and David Sim whole obtained 4As in all of the subjects including Darrent Lim achieved 3 As in all of his subjects.

Other students are Shana Elizabeth Law who also scored 3 As and 1 B, while Jonathan Kho and Kevin Ho both obtained 2 As and 2 Bs.

Half of the students in Chemistry, Physics, and Economics received As in their exams, while 67 per cent of the students obtained As in Biology. In Mathematics, 60 per cent of the students attained the grade of As, however in Information Technology, all of the students received the grade of As.

Meanwhile, SJIS chief executive Christopher Chua said the outstanding accomplishment is a result of the students and teachers’ commitment and dedication to their success.

“These accomplishments demonstrate the students’ dedication as well as the consistent support and guidance from our devoted teaching staff,” he said.

SJIS Principal Br Robert Teoh FMS said the results obtained this year demonstrate the rigorous academic standards the school maintains and the dynamic learning environment the school cultivates.

“We take great pride in our students and eagerly anticipate their forthcoming A-Level examinations, expecting them to achieve further success,” he added. — DayakDaily
