Squall of wind hits Rumah Ragai, six families affected

KAPIT, Dec 26: A small but violent squall of wind ‘angin puting beliong’ has hit Rumah Ragai, Sg Gat Baleh last Monday (Dec 21) and damaged six of the bileks, said Baleh assemblyman Tan Sri Dr James Jemut Masing.

He and Hulu Rajang MP Datuk Wilson Ugak Kumbong have assisted the six affected families with financial assistance of RM1,000 per family.

Additionally, he also handed over RM2,000 to Rumah Bangkong and former tuai rumah Janggu for their medical needs.

Masing, who is also Parti Rakyat Sarawak (PRS) president and Deputy Chief Minister said, Ugak also donated RM5,000 to the affected families. — DayakDaily
