Sports and recreational activities banned in Sibu, Selangau and Kanowit

KUCHING, April 26: All sports and recreational activities in Sibu, Selangau and Kanowit are banned during the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) period expected until May 17.

This is the latest announcement by State Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) today following the extension of the statewide CMCO for another 21 days starting tomorrow (April 27).

The committee also said that all restaurants and eateries are not allowed to accept dine-ins as only takeaways, drive-through and deliveries are permitted.

As for other businesses in Sibu district, only listed essential services can operate from 6am to 8pm with a maximum of 50 per cent working capacity.

For travelling on the road in private vehicles, the maximum number of individuals in one vehicle is limited to only three persons. ā€” DayakDaily
