KUCHING, June 6: Written examinations of the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) 2021 will commence only in March, 2022.

Education Minister Dr Mohd Radzi Jidin said the oral and practical science tests would be held first in February, 2022.

“KPM (Ministry of Education) has made this decision considering the current (Covid-19) situation and the challenges that are being faced by the candidates of SPM 2021.

“From our experiences in dealing with SPM 2020 and by shifting the 2021 examinations to 2022, we are confident that the processes and procedures of the exams are able to run smoothly as what we have done in SPM 2020,” he said during a special televised press conference today.

Meanwhile, Mohd Radzi also reminded the audience that the results of SPM 2020 examinations will be released on June 10 at 10am.
