KUCHING, May 10: A special task force (PPK) has been set up to document stateless individuals in the Pusa district.

According to a Sarawak Public Communication Unit (Ukas) news report, in a special meeting held at the Pusa District Office on Monday (May 9), Pusa District Officer Bujang Ladi said apart from documenting residents who still do not have citizenship status, the PPK also works to track and identify such individuals in the district.

“PPK also distributes survey forms to community leaders and collects survey forms from heads of households (KIR) in the respective areas, mainly related to individuals with no identification documents and citizenship status.

He also hoped that the establishment of PPK would be able to help resolve the issue of residents in the district who do not yet have citizenship status. — DayakDaily
