KUCHING, March 26: Southern and central Sarawak are expected to experience thunderstorms due to the monsoon transition phase starting March 29.
According to Malaysian Meteorological Department (METMalaysia) in a notice issued at 12pm today, the monsoon transition phase is expected to last until May.
The department added that during this phase, thunderstorms that usually bring heavy rain with strong winds are expected to occur in the evening and early night.
